    Office 365 setup tips

Just thought Id post this incase anyone else struggles with this

I had so much drama setting up Office 365 on a C364e. Followed the guide on web exactly

    SMTP address: smtp.office365.com
    Use SSL/TLS: Start TLS
    Port number: 587
    Device Email address:
    SMTP Authentication: ticked
    User ID: fullemail@address.com
    Password: goeshere
    Domain name: required

but no good constant server connection error

in the end it was simple.
Disabled TLS v1.1 and v1.2 and only leave v1 enabled (and SSL v3 as it doesn't hurt to leave it on)
Under Security - PKI Settings - SSL Settings

Hopefully this saves someone the frustration

The settings you mentioned disabling etc below, is this something you do on the device or the Office365 configuration?

      On device.
A tree is known by its fruit, a man by his deeds. A good deed is never lost, he who sows courtesy, reaps friendship, and he who plants kindness gathers love.
Blessed are they who can laugh at themselves, for they shall never cease to be amused.
