    Minolta Di-3510, recognizing connectivity

Have not yet had these machines but will start to rebuild them soon. I want to buy some used machines from a wholesaler but need to know, if and how, one can recognize from the outside which controller is fitted and if it has a scan kit. Or is it necessary to fire them up to see those options?

The scan kit is just a small board inserted into slot on MFB-3. Start the machine to see if it is there.
