    Installing a LK-101 V3 C364e

Trying to install the above to a c364e

Keep getting error code MAI001 when adding the token code and also "unable to confirm settings" on the function/license code tab

Does the machine need to be on a certain firmware ?

    any help much appreciated

    Hi,

it's necessary to rewrite the firmware to MFP card version: A1610Y0-F000-G20-58, set swtich No. 150 to [00000001] at Bit assignment[01] at HEX assignment in Service Mode > System 2 > Software switch setting, then activate the i-option license (lk-101)

      Thanks very much

And that firmware is for the e model ?

The machine is a Konica machine but i bought the LK-101 from Develop wouldn't have thought made a difference?

Yes, the firmware is of the bizhub 364e model (read in the service manual).

Even if you bought from Develop, LK101 should be compatible

I have never seen that code, but have you installed the optional memory?

I have seen these codes when the MFP does not have internet access, or cannot get to the KM LMS server located in Asia somewhere. If you have access to the KM website you should manually register the I-Option to the serial number. Here You will be provided a function and license key code set which you can install through admin or service mode. Additionally you can find out if the s/n you are trying to install the license on exists in the system, or if the LK has previously been registered on another device (you are screwed in this case). There are firmware and memory requirements, but lack of these only prevent web browser usage, not the basic install. Emujo
