c6500, cyan in gray prints and copies

I've got a C6500, test prints and customer prints have a blue tint when printing anything with gray, I replaced the gamma sensors and re-did all adjustments, tried several out put profiles and calibrated the Fiery. I still get too much cyan in everthing but it is most noticable in gray. If anyone has any thoughts on this issue please let me know.

I think you print rich black. check your settings for pure black and this will solve your problem. it in colorwise

try calibration on different media types. some times calibrating on different media types will help. then apply it to all media types. Are we talking Creo or Fiery here?

          Hello,

I think that your problem is not the engine but the controller (EFI device).

First of all you need to know if your document is CMYK or RGB?

Check your color with PITSTOP is there a true black (or grey level)!

          For CMYK :
The GCR should be on "Source"
also remove all input profils (profil = none)

          RGB
Change the grey condition (windows under RGB profil)

For a best result you can print with Line1 instead of DOT1.

If you are sure about engine adjustement don't touch the engine!

          Kind regards

            gray

            a) Gray is reddish when copying

            b) Firmware MUST BE 15 +, Turn off the C6500 then back on (Let it stabilize),
Perform Gamma Offset, Gamma Sensor, & Auto Gamma in order to take effect
Dip SW 15-7 set to 1 Enable LDAP function (Optional) try this
