    KM C6500 Stops after 20-30 copies.

    The machine stops after 20-30 copies then the operator most go and press start and so its goes on, after they done so a few times the machine shows warming upp and after that they can press start.

    This is usually caused by one of the trays misfeeding. Whichever tray is being used at the time, check/clean/replace the feed tires as necessary. I have had this problem with glossy paper the most.

    If you are using the PFU (trays 4&5), then you may want to install the new style feed assemblies if you don't have them already.

      turn off collation in the printer driver.

        stops after 20/30

        try this, i had one do the same thing. It turned out to be the finisher, the reasone is the paper was getting caught on the guide on the finisher. Watch the paper exit it should go down and then back up, but if it goes down then up and down lower than the previous then its the white guides that run along from top to bottom. remove them.
