    [Jamming] Noise with Jamming ADF bizhub 364e

    We have a Konica Minolta bizhub 364e where the customer calls and says that the ADF document feeder is not working and is making loud noises. We arrive on-site and everything is working fine. We test EVERYTHING including copy vs scan for the different feeding speeds, 2-sided and all trays. Nothing, it just works.

    It logs error codes J66-13 (x2) and J66-33 (x1) at the timeframe they indicate it occurred. It also says SERVICE NOTIFICATION FAILED TURN MAIN SWITCH OFF/ON on the LCD operator panel.

    We perform a Trouble Reset, clean and it tests fine, yet it comes back momentarily but we cannot ever catch it ourselves.

    Any thoughts?

    I would just start testing document feeder in CE mode, clean every roller, replace maybe if count is high etc. Regarding jams recorded customers may be putting crap originals through ADF.

    Please, in the future cases try to be more specific about details ie. meter counts, life counts, tests.
