    konica 7033

Hello there! I have i problem with konica 7033. Every morning when i turn it on and it Ready to copy, When i press the copy button, it will run for a moment then it will display the code F28-2. For i know is F28-2 is for abnormal discharge of tranfer HV.
What i will do is to Enter to output code 47-3 to turn-on the HV for some time. when the the machine gets warm, the copier with run in normal condition, as if it has no problem.
So every morning i 'll turn the code 47-3 and wait for 30 minutes or more so that the machine will run and will not display Code F28-2.

I already replaced the Transfer/Separation Assembly, but still same problem occur.

Now I suspect the HV2 is the problem. I have no spare HV2 assy to replaced it. I want to make sure that it is the right problem (HV2 Assy) before i buy one.

is there anyone encountered this problem?

Thanks for the help in advance.

F28-2 shortly after pressing the START/PRINT key.
    Solution
CAUSE: HV(2) is not properly grounded, or has failed.
SOLUTION: Tighten the ground screw, located in the lower left corner, on HV(2). Replace the high voltage unit (p/n 55GA84020) if necessary.

        Hi Smiley
thanks for your reply. I already put insulator onthe corona wires that contacts the corona blocks but still same problem. i even replaced the whole aasy with a new one. thats why i wont suspect the transfer/separation anymore.

        I'll try the grounding solution

        thanks

hi check first the corona wire in transfer assy.then cheat the front door and run all hvs in hv adjust ment look if the transfer corona wires are working if not try to replace the hv2.if its working.good luck
