Bizhub Series 4 FW SSD NG 9999

    Hello

this is a question I've always asked myself. I will have updated the firmware to about twenty bizhub C284e/C364e and I have always obtained an SSD NG99999
I asked KM, they told me that they had problems with SSD in the past and this could be normal, in case of problems they suggested I replace it.

Someone some more information? The MFPs work well after the update, only in rare cases after several days there have been failures but I don't think it's related to the SSD NG99999 (or maybe yes?)

What should you do in case of NG9999? Just ignore it or do something?

    thank you

    Just ignore it. Read below.

    Question
When performing the Self-Diagnostics in service mode, why is the SSD Pattern Check showing "NG"?

    Answer
If any of the following 3 scenarios are applied to the machine, the result of the Self-Diagnostic for the SSD "Pattern Check" will always show "NG".

However it does not necessarily mean that the SSD board is faulty.
    1. The SSD board was replaced in the past, (old or modified type).
    2. The SSD board firmware was updated in the past.
    3. The SSD board is the factory modified type.
