    Konica Minolta C368 - 99-01

    Hi guys,

I am having an issue with a low mileage Konica Minolta C368. Everytime i tray doing a paper feed test/test page for tray 3 (PC-415) i get an 'Incorrect paper size/Paper type error. I have the machine on the lastest firmware, i have tried replacing the feed tray, i have changed the paper in the machine but yet no avail. The machine works fine from trays 1 + 2 just not tray 3.

    Any suggestions will be appreciated.

Correct me if i'm wrong but the issue persists because a PC-415 is for a C458 C558??

C368's are meant to have PC-410's

Isn't PC-415 option for C458? You may want to try PC-410 on C368 instead.

I looked at the spec sheet for both models and there is a difference in paper trays between the xx8 and the xx8e series. The xx8 series uses the 110 210 and 410 paper trays. The xx8e series uses the the 115, 215, and 415 paper trays. This the most likely the issue. I have seen this with finishers if you put a Fs534 on an 8 series machine it might work until you upgrade the firmware then it jams. I just encountered this issue with an 8e I had pc210 on it and it says paper size error on both trays but doesn't log a jam in the counter. It ejects the print then gives the paper size error. Hopefully this helps solve or prevent headaches in the future.
