problem with the konica c3350 scanner unit

    Hi
I have a problem with the konica c3350 scanner unit, when the printer is turned on the scanner unit makes a strange sound, I have indicated that the scanner lever should be unlocked, when it is already unlocked, the scanner belt is correct.
    thanks

I don't think I understand. But I've had hundreds of belts snap so maybe that's what you mean?

      hi
thanks for answering, the scanner belt is correct but the printer produces the error of unlocking the scanner lever, the lever is in the unlocked position and the belt is not broken.
The scanner lamp works but when it moves backwards it cannot move and produces a strange noise
What may be causing the failure?

Had this, too - scanner belt is fine but the waggon does not recognise the left end position so it ran against the housing, ended up swapping the entire scanner unit from a parts donater unit.
