A friend has one of these at home and toner is no longer available for them in my region - has anyone ever tried filling the black bottle with toner from a c452 series? still plenty of these around and a dime a dozen. If it will kill his dev unit i will tell him not to bother.

C220 black toner contains a small amount of developer, make sure the toner you are replacing it with also contains developer.
C220 colour toners do not contain developer.Comment
