Firmware should not be attempted if you are not a trained tech. A lot can go wrong. That being said.....they will sell you the firmware for an affordable price at Firmware Update - Printer & Copier Firmware
I have purchased from that side in the past and can highly recommend it.
The firmware through them includes the service manual which details step by step how to install it for this model. Do not try and do a firmware update without the manual.
Also, the firmware data are different between bizhub C652/C552/C452 series and bizhub C652DS/C552DS series. Verify the model number so you can request the correct firmware.Leave a comment:

you have been here since 02-22-2106 you seem not to have many posts/comments for that length of time here
make a small CONTRIBUTION to CTN ( to keep it up n running ) and I'm sure your prayers will be answered.
ARE you a trained TECH or enduser? we have plenty of newbie techs/enduser's that have BRICKED their units by improper use of Firmware.
the reason I ask about the TECH thing... your PROFILE is drastically missing key information.. have you EVER been trained on ANY copier/printer?Leave a comment:

i have a machine konica bizhub c452 with error c-c186 after warming up
searching about this error i realised that firmware is the only solution
please need help, need the firmware for this model copier
