Konica Minolta C454e- Disable User Settings Password

Hi all,

I have a C454e here which has a user settings password.

I would only like it to be set on administrator setting alone. I believe there's a SW switch for disabling the user settings password.

Will really appreciate your kind response.

You could either delete the user boxes registered with those user passwords..... Unless you are talking about the CE password

Its not the user box password. Its the User Setting in the Administrator Settings>Utility which they have enabled the password.

Backup and wipe the machine loose the machine settings.
The right answer is out there. I am just to lazy to read.

Its an old thread now but this has just helped me out !!

Worked on a C258, before changing 71 to 0 the user settings were locked and couldnt do a meter count print off without inputting the admin password.
