    Enable password for user setting in bh283/363/423

    Dear Technicians of KM ,

    Is there any method for me to enable password in User Setting ?

    In some of the copier user setting are free , without need admin password.

    We need to set a password to prevent of customer mess up the system.

    You could create user box and each user have his protection.

      E series onwards can have the administrator password applied to utility menu - don't think it applies to those dinosaurs.

      For E series onwards the setting is: DipSw No.200:[Hex:20]

        Pity U can't lock paper tray paper type.

        I find that's the most fiddled with setting and customers end up locking out a tray because they set it to thick by mistake
