    [Misc] bizhub 215 226 163 211 admin password reset

    Hi everybody!

    Has anyone know the way of reseting the admin password on this models.
    Factory password is "sysadm" but if an administrator decide to change it you are stuck and cannot change anything through web interface.

    In service mode you can reset admin password (control panel access) but that doesn't reset web connection password. (at least that doesn't work for me on bizhub 211).

      If i remember good default password for 163/211 is 000000.

          Yes, an is still the same for bizhub 215 226 and 225i (Europe models).
          That one is for input through control panel keys and can be easily reset in service mode to factoy default one.

          My question was for pagescope web connection password - how that one can be restored to factory default (sysadm) if user change it and forgot the new one.

                      Print out Service Data List it should include Admin. Password.

                          Service data list is only available if FAX kit is mounted, which is rarely (1 out of 100 in my field of machines).
