C3350i series in box pre-start leaflet

For those unaware, you are now expected to remove and shake all 4 imaging units prior to the first power on. This is a standard leaflet now placed inside the box.

I hope this is only for a certain batch of C3350i.
Soon they will send us the pieces in single parts and then they will tell us to assemble the printer on site.
Can I find out with which firmware that printer came to you from the factory?

Brand new stock opened today. I don’t recall what was on there but it was fairly recent. Stuff we get is straight from the factory, it doesn’t sit around.

The TCR sensor on these things is like nothing I’ve ever seen on a KM. I suspect this new design can’t handle settled developer at all.

On A3 they did a good job. Yes, there has been some bugs but now they look ok!
On the A4 series it is worrying. Now the black and white versions will also arrive but I hope they are only a few cases.

Yes, the A4s are now produced by Konica Minolta. But not all of them.

Bizhub 4000i/5000i/4020i etc are from Brother.
              Bizhub 4020/4050 are from Lexmark.
Bizhub 4052 is Konica Minolta with Lexmark engine.

A4 color printers (C3320i, C4050i etc.) are all Konica Minolta. For the first time Konica Minolta will launch the A4 black and white 4050i printers etc.

I sure wish KM would get onboard with the mantra: "If it ain't broke, don't fix it!!" No issues with TCR sensors (that I've seen in the field) really for many years now and they go and change them.

That's why I always follow install instructions no matter how many machines installed before.
Now for the A4 machines, I'm with Bix on this one. New A4 color bizhubs are KM own design pretty much as older models. Mono color A4 are rebadged mix.

FYI, I know the a4 colour is KM own design- note I said BW (black and white)

Lexy 4020 crappie machine has nothing in common with bizhub C3350i.
