[Misc] Konica Minolta C284e Scanning issue (Sent as mime-attachement)

    Hi All

Client is scanning (email) documents as pdf but getting as mime-attachments. And cannot open as pdf.

Another issue is when she scans 10 pages. it comes separately as 10 emails :

    Message from C284e [1/2] to [10/10] 10 separate emails.

    Please advise.

    Thanks and Regards,

Hi, most likely they have activated this.
    You have to remove.

          Try to turn off S/MIME under [Network] - [E-mail Setting] - [S/MIME]

If mime isnt enabled at copier then logically it has to be a I.T issue

There are a few things that I would try. First off try it with different smtp settings instead (gmail, outlook, etc), see if you are still getting the same problem. If you are, then you know that there is probably a setting that you are missing in the machine itself. If not, then the problem lies on the email server side. Also, check if the machine is trying to encrypt or to add a digital signature to the scan to email and turn that off if it is.
