Problem C250 Fax forward to mail

Hi!
I have som problem whith a Bizhub C250 when i try to forward, fax to a mail adress. I want it to be a PDF file but it only make it as a Tiff
the defult seting is PDF.
Has any one had this problem??

Faxes communicate with TIFF. Thats the only format a fax can be forwarded in. You'll need a converter program on the PC that receives the email, or just a program to open the TIFF file.

Stefan, the following should help you.


1. Press the Fax key.
2. Press Scan Settings.

3. Press File Type and select PDF.
4. Press the Copy button.
5. Press Utility.
6. Press Copier settings
7.Press Default settings.
8. Press Current.
9. Enter the Tech Rep mode
10. Press Fax tab.
11. Press File Format.
12. Press the start button/key.
13. Recycle the machine OFF/ON.

Also make sure that you have firmware phase 2 and above.
