    Bizhub color chip reset

Just curious as to the extra life that people are getting out of their chip resets (mainly the C250/252 and C300/352). My company has been going back and forth between whether we should buy the reset chips, or buy the hardware and do the resets ourselves. What kind of yield are you all seeing from the re-chipped IUs? +10%? +30%? +50%? More? Any input on the topic would be greatly appreciated.

    extra life

    from my experience :

    for C250/252 max +20%
    for c350/351/450 cf3102/2002 max+ 80 %
    for c203/253/353/ +120%
    for c451/550/650 +100%

this percents may be total different in different work's conditions.

Does anybody have any experience with the Bizhub C300/352 chips. These are the most common of the color machines that I work with, and if chipping turns out to be a good idea with these it would save me a ton of money. Any thoughts?

Any where from 20% to 50% more yields depends on the monthly volumes. On Higher volumes we have gotten double the yield but that is an exception rather than the norm. Failure rate is about 10%. Visit my websites and read my tips for rechipping, doing it properly makes a big difference. If you have any questions feel free to email me info@iuresets.com
