Dark background on all prints, however with white borders around the paper.

It doesn't seem like a mechanical failure to me.


Can you tell us about the useful life of the inputs and if there are any errors shown on the screen?

How did it start to happen?

Check PH unit - A0P0R71200.

I'd say it's more likely the black developing unit with an issue.
