    Konica Minolta C3320i- Storage Format

    Hi guys,

I have a C3320i in the showroom and would like to do Storage Format and Storage Lock.
I've tried but the did not succeed. The Encryption Settings has not been encrypted.

Appreciate all your response in advance.

    Thank you.

I belive there's a storage option under utility. Formating option is there. Not sure about encryption.

Does the "budget focused" C3320i even come with a proper m2 hard drive? Spec sheet says "16gb HDD" that might be just a memory card connected on the onboard micro-SD slot - so it wouldn't surprise me if HDD encryption/format is not possible via admin menu. Try a data clear via service mode then.

F/W G00-45 supports this..BTW km has removed all f/w versions before 45..I can only think that they found massive issues and do not want these used anymore..I found out by trying to reload ver 24..

Those are MicroSD Storage equiped models.

          1. Storage Format can be found under:
          • [Utility]
            • [Storage Management]
              • [Format]

          2. Since microSD does not support the selfencryption function, Storage Lock Password setting is not available.

Yes, the format and encryption system settings option are there but I would also like to do Storage Lock which is not available in this model.

            Thanks for your help.

                I'll update the F/W G00-28 to G00-45.

                Thanks,

Have noticed that too. Is there anything else I can do?

                  Thanks,
