    Konica 7022 making clicking noise

    Hello All,

I have a 7022 that has started making a clicking sound when printing. It is similar to the sound a wind-up toy makes when it has been wound-up enough. It seems to be coming from the drum area.

Either the drum auger is bound with toner or it could be one of the feed gears is missing a tooth and needs to be replaced, to eliminate the feed gear try using a diiferent tray other then the primary tray ,try using the bypass and see if the noise goes away,if it does then one of the feed gears is missing a tooth, and by your screename and when you joined the forum i would suspect you are and end user and for either of these problems your going to need a tech, good luck

Yeah, I would say the same as luther. Recycle unit might be gone, full or something wrong with driving gears.
