Serial numbers konica minolta

I don't remember if it was here on the forum, but I recently read a document stating the meaning of the serial numbers of the konica minolta printers.


Just out of curiosity and knowledge, if someone knows and can help.

not sure if anyone cares, but this is kinda right,

AA 7N 0 2 1 000 001

its (series) (model) (brand) (region) (original / revamp) (batch) (number)

series -eg. [c250i-c360i-c650i],[c258-c308-c458],[c224-c284]

Model - which one in the series, like the c250i, c360i, c450i, c550i, c650i.

brand -
0-konica
1 - develop
2 - lexmark
3 - olivetti


reigion - this is based on power requirements, cant remember them off the top of my head, but 2 is uk, 1 is North america

original / revamp - i dont actually know what to call this, its like the c250i to c251i, this is a bit hit or miss, so all c250is are 021, and all c251is are 027. this isnt the case for all of the printers, such as the c450i, which does have some 027s, need additional info on
