    Hard drive format!

    Hello Team

    Can you format the HDD from the device it self? Do you know if the models below can all be formatted via the panel?

      What model? I think 454/554/364 you can format from the screen. You might need the movie data files later.

        Each of these devices can use either the control panel or service mode to format the HDD. E

              Formatting the HDD, no, but doing a overwrite (mode 1-9) yes, with a caveat..If your firmware is out of date, the report will not print on any device with over the life consumables. But if you have everything updated, or past the f/w level required for this, then yes, you can have a report generated at the end that shows the HDD wipe was done. E
