Konica biz hub c754e has orange light on side of panel and wont copy or scan.

Good afternoon, i hope everyone had a safe holiday, despite the terrible storms.
this MFP now will still print, but no copy or scan.
the display says "the function listed cannot be used because the scanner is not available"
rebooting didn't help.

has anyone seen this? i thought i have, but memory just isn't what it was.

any input will be appreiated.
