Konica Minolta bizhub C558 Laser Unit Replacement

Replaced the Laser unit on a Konica Minolta bizhub C558 and now the right door open indicator is displayed when the door is closed. Strange it wasn't showing this prior to laser unit replacement. Is there any interlocks and/or sensors to check for the right door.

Yes there is. However, when changing the laser, you may have disconnected wires and left some unconnected. Just behind the power connector there are wires that come out of the power supply.

ive had that when do a fuser drive assy and ive had the yellow and white connector not plugged in properly. yellow cables

You shoul check the connections. In worst case there is a broken pin.
The connector CN008 on the DC power supply (has to be removed for replacing PH-Unit) is connected with the right door switch (SW3).
