C3100P imaging unit chip

Hello,

Last time I replaced the chip of K imaging unit due to end of life and it succeed.
This time I did so, however, the machine displayed K imaging unit is missing.
I tried 2 more chips the same result occurred.
So what's the reason? and any setting on tech rep mode can release either toner or IU chip cannot be detected normally?

I replaced back the current chip, it displayed back IU-K life end.

It sounds like you are using the wrong chip. Is that possible?

I ordered the chips from taobao, I tried them and all displayed IU-K is missing.

Long Long time ago I got the same chip and reset the IU successfully.

If you have a new IU install it. Then send the bad chips back and order some new ones

I thought it displays not "missing k-unit" but "wrong unit". But it seems it's a wrong chip.
