    Strange but I have been told about background problem ended with another PS(power supply).
    Don't ask me why.

        Is that even adjustable on this series?

        I was going to say generic toner, but it says all OEM

          Check the voltages and PM counter - did the reset chip for the new drum work? Image error like this can happen if a new drum is installed without reset so the voltages are off.

            Turned out to be the IDC sensors were dirty which for some reason threw the voltages out for the cyan. Cleaned them and re graduated the machine and all was ok after.
