C35 "Incorrect Imaging Unit" Message

Hello there guys and gals,
I just went to a call on a C35 that was having problems with it's imagining units. I tried updating the firmware but I am still getting the message "incorrect imagining unit CM" for the Cyan and Magenta drums. I have ordered some direct from Konica but I am wondering if there are any alternative fixes.

Did you rechip the IU's. Imported the drums from some other region? Try an engine error data clear... Or get good chips or IU's.
Could be that there is a physical chip contact issue. We got rid of all those POS machines a long time ago...

Update: replaced the imaging units after updating firmware and the message went away. I bet someone through a magicolor drum in there before which probably was freaking the machine out.
