Konica Minolta BHC759 Error B005 After HDD Installation

    Hi everyone,

I’m encountering an issue with my Konica Minolta BHC759. After installing a new HDD, I’m receiving an error code B005. The error seems to be related to the fax option, but the machine does not have a fax card installed.

Has anyone encountered this issue before or have suggestions on how to resolve it?

Go and make sure fax is uninstalled in service mode.

What if you run full self diagnostics?

Just in case this isn't resolved yet:

If you have Service Mode access, you should be able to go to the following menu to check the install status of the machine's hardware: [System 2] -> [Option Board Status]. By default, if it has a fax card, and sometimes they do by default, the setting FAX (circuit 1) should have the word Set selected, it should be blacked, and all others should have Unset selected.

If you haven't already, perhaps you need to check to see if the HDD is installed properly. Usually under System 2 you go to HDD and Installed should be selected. Otherwise, you may need to perform a Physical and/or Logical Format of the HDD under State Confirmation -> Memory/Storage Adjustment (Page 2/2)-> Format. Make sure to reinstall the Firmware and Movie Data as needed.
