Olivetti mf259 (early one) LED lamp is blue

Hello! Had a call out for a new problem that I've not come across before - the customer phoned up to report that prints looked grey when done in BW, and had a blue background when done in colour. Turns out that prints were fine, but scans and copies were not and exhibited the behaviour reported. I'd seen "Maintenance Required S-1-S-2" reported via our SNMP DCA, so headed straight to the scanner (df-632, despite the s-2 being a df-714 code). As soon as I opened the ADF I saw that the LED exposure unit was glowing blue, not white.

CCD Check values for gain were as follows:
    R0:245
    RE:245
    G0:121
    GE:121
    B0:9
    BE:9

Has anyone seen the LED exposure unit change colour before?

That matches what I've seen. Cheers! Back down tomorrow to fit parts.

Fitted an LED exposure unit from a working machine and it fired up white. No issues with copies or scans, no error codes following the boot. But upon logging into service mode I saw that the S-1 malfunction was still showing.

CCD Check GAIN values didn't look bad (within the ranges advised in the service manual - can't find any mention if it'll throw the error if the 0 and E values differ for each colour). Copier is on g00-rd firmware.

Machine operation seems fine, no issues reported anywhere else. Self Diag OK.
