20-04 is one of the odd ones. Push in the door towards the bottom while passing paper and see if it helps. Try load check for tray 2 vertical transport with the large door (but NOT the 2nd transfer door) cheated and check if pressing down on it slightly causes it to stop.

Just to edit, the pushing of the door is to test idle tension. About once or twice a month I need to replace/mod the springs for those white idle rollers to give them a bit more pressure. Just did it to a 558 last Friday for T2/3 skew. I've seen it a bit more on the 4 series.

Strip and check the paper feed drive assy.
2 oneway gears and shaft that they run on can cause that.
I have replaced a few on 558's in the past.
