bizhub 458e image problem

Hello everyone,

One customer called poor printout on colored text, I visited and got a test print it seems lighter.
First I checked drum unit, developing unit, transfer unit, cleaned IDC sensors and PH windows, and performed " gradation adjustment ".
Once the 600 dpi printer halftone pattern has been scanned the machine showed error.

What reason cause this?

How does that sample print look like if you delete the gradation adjustment and just leave it without calibration?

You can see normal black text is ok, if print other color text it will very light.

Does this machine have a IDS shutter? can't remember.
So you need to find the reason the engine can't stabilize.

Looks like gradation failure.

All image process adjustment settings set to default?
Like removable voltage adjustment and Gradation/Dev bias V selection?

I performed gradation adjustment, first got stabilization, success,
then printed first time " 600 dpi print " pattern, placed on glass and scanned, after that error message displayed.

Did you try initialize and stabilize?
Initialize will get rid of current bad data if that is the issue.

Ok so then no input possible. How is scan to PDF quality. CCD ok?

Initial + stabilize, this function not yet be performed, i consider to try it.

Customer didn't report about scan, only said light printout for non-black text when copy / print.

the test page is bad, but configuration page is ok.

Halftones at 30,100, 200 and 255 please.
Looks like everything under 50% fill is coming white/blank. At that point I would initialize machine and start fresh doing adjustments.
