    C454e + C454 Crashing

    Hi guys,

have x2 machines that crash when using it, (different sites)

have replaced SSD's + HDD's for both but still not worked, ran latest firmware for both.

thinking on trying MFP but want to know if there is anything else to try before that?

How do you define crashing? Do they stall completely? Are there any errors logged? How's the battery voltage?

Does the CPU cooler/fan looks healthy?

Bad print jobs or network garbage (IP conflicts etc.) can also cause software crashes.

There are no error codes, you turn the machine on then crashes after 3 mins of so so you cant select anything on the control panel, machine says its offline in till reboot and goes through it again.

there are currently no IP conflicts with machines

Ah OK - at least it's reproduceable. What happen if you test it without LAN conenction? In case it works fine the next step is to test with a LAN conenction to your laptop. If it works fine you prooved the origin of the problem must be related to the customers network. The only thing you might try is disabling any unneccesary protocols and stuff like WSD.
