scan to e-mail on fiery x3e 65c or (ic-408)

hi can somenone please jot down what needs to be set up for this

It is configured in the Web Set Up for the Fiery. (or Server set up from command workstation, they both take you to the same place)

There will be scan configuration under network, services set up, you will enable email scan, set a max file size, then click on email setting and put in the SMTP or iMAP information as well as the senders email address. Reboot the Fiery and add one touch keys to the copier. Not hard at all.

can you leave incoming server settings blank
also do you have to put administrator e-mail address in copier as well as on e-mail setting
what would sender e-mail address be is that a fictous copier one or the customers

You can leave the incoming server blank. With the C6500 you don't put a admin email in the copier, just in the Fiery. Also, in the Fiery set up there is a Fiery email address and an administrator email address. The one it actually uses to transmit is the Fiery email address.
