      you need to set user authentication to enable via printer properties

      printer properties - configure tab - scroll down to user authentication - enable

      ( if this wont enable you need to turn off the auto configure, it will be under 'obtain settings' tab)

        Kenny is correct. Additionally, since it's not auto obtaining settings, you'll need to make sure the model showing up in the driver matches the model of the machine. It's in the same section.
