    Bizhub C754e no chip in the IU

    Hello guys,

    today noticed that Imaging units on C754e are without chips. Machine is with counter over 1 mil, how is possible to have units without chips as first ones? How the machine recognizes life counter?

      Have they ever been replaced? The original ones don't have chips usually.

          yo probably the first set of IUs even if it's very unlikely with that meter - do you know the exact history of that machine? IU's might have been installed als "used" units or refurbed with parts.

              For sure are not the first units, i am thinking that is installed special firmware, but cant be sure.
