I think this is actually a user replaceable part, I would say not hard at all.

you can setup end off life in the service mode, when the unit show end off life, if this mode active, the machine doesnt work, be careful

The end of life is standard on "stop", I usually switch it to "not stop".

The replacement of the IU can be done by the customer for sure, but it's certainly not a bad idea to give a demonstration when the first IU needs to be replaced.

A trained monkey can easily replace it. But office employee who doesn't care about the machine can easily screw it up!!!
