Hey guys we've just discovered something that you might want to know when dealing with olivetti and konica minolta machines or parts regarding konica 4 and 8 series:
Drum Units:
Konica Drum Units do not fit into Olivetti Machines. You need to change the blue plastic cover in the front in Order to make this work
Sometimes, in 1 out of 100 cases, chip replacement is also required.
Other than that, there are no issues.
Dev Units:
They do not work together. You can exchange the tcr sensor and get it to work, but machines where i have only just done that will throw more problems after half a year. If you do not change the tcr sensor, machine will make weird prints after a few weeks/months with fcked up tcr values.
Fusing Units:
Olivetti sometimes makes those "part sales" where you an buy parts you usually dont get to buy. Well the reason is that they are a production failure and have some sort of damage done to them. Sometimes you get lucky but its the best bet to keep your hands of these as often the Problem is not visible.
Thats all i have to share for now. Hope this might help someone who has to handle parts from both manufacturers
