hello,

one C558 displayed J-1201.
I checked feed rollers of tray 2 didn't rotate, checked feed clutch operation only the gear of that clutch rotated.
I checked harness of paper feed unit, may cause of PWB-MFP or other else?

If drawer 2 is jammed and the manual input is jammed, on this model you have to change the paper pick-up block, which has been modified: a79JR70211 becomes A79JR70222.

Also, if you have access to Konica Minolta bulletins, see bulletin KBA00036507.
There is a coated shaft that you clean with a scotchbrite to keep a one way gear from slipping and causing jams.
Doing this may fix your problem, but it is still a good idea to install the updated paper feed drive assembly.

I removed paper feed assy from defective copier to normal machine, normal machine worked properly,
installed paper feed assy that removed from normal machine to defective one, same jam result.
I marked a point one 2nd drawer clutch gear and output shaft, gear turned but shaft didn't.
Replaced that clutch same result.

Check the bypass. If the bypass jams or has a lift error its two oneway gears and the shaft they sit on (3 items total) in the T2/Bypass drive section. They rotate/grab opposite from each other, so if one seizes it kills both trays. Seen it a few times on 458-658

I had a paper jam issue with a C308. Paper jams in trays 1, 2 and the manual feed tray. I did checks and confirmed the paper feed and manual feeds working ok. I later found the transport motor shaft threads have been worn out. I replaced with used bit good transport motor and it happened to fix the issue.

You might want to check the transport motor to see if the motor shaft threads are worn out.
