Hello,

I have 2 units C250i have same issue.
Copy, print, scan are OK, if customer scanned a document to PC and printed it, the words have foggy edge. I cleaned scanner section ( lens, mirrors, platen glass, CCD ), check scan setting ( 300dpi, auto color, PDF, exposure and background removal default ).
I observed this scanned image on PC, nothing problem. I tried to scan to USB stick and print, same result.

Any idea about this case? Thank you.

Sample looks fine to me except that the second page shows a little more compression artefacts around the letters,
just zoom in a lot and you'll see it (if no, adjust brighntess/contast of your monitor)

If the gradation setting is too dark these kind of artefacts may show up emphasised on the prints, too.

My tips:

- Delete the stabilizer/gradation data and run a new gradation
- check the scan settings, use at least 300dpi and avoid compact PDF if prefer quality over filesize
- check the drivers
- use adobe reader for printing PDF
- print in B&W mode
