    K7145/IP432 display PRINTER BOARD FAILURE message

    Print controller unit not initialize,

    after upgrading the system code via the Compact Flash (CF) procedure.

    A few minutes late show PRINTER BOARD FAILURE message!!!!

    Need IP432 service manual.

    Re-flash the cf card with base code. Don't format the card just copy and paste. If that does not work make sure to remove the hard drive from the print controller. If you are using the cf hd2gb just remove it. It's only purpose is to store fonts.

      When upgrading the system compact flash(CF),
      CF card was accidentally formatted in the WINDOWS!!!

      Connect the IP-432 with the computer via serial port (DB9 null modem cable) ,

      startup hyper terminal on PC so that service port ,

      Run Vxformat order to format CF card,

      necessary refer the IP432 service manual,


      Please provide help!

        I believe I posted the instructions for one of your other post re an Ip-423 the procedure should be the same. I recommend TeraTermial as the serial interface a little more stable tan HyperTerminal but either will work. anyway check you email.
