    Konica MInolta C658 C3B07 Code

I have troubleshot all for this code and seems like the majority of problems replace the IHPU Board.

My question is that the IHCoil is 600.00 or so. Do any of you have any luck not replacing this when you replace the IHPU Board?

Would like to save the expense, Has anyone found a logical test with a ohm meter for the Coil and all the connector wires?

    Thank You

If the KM implementation of Induction Heating system for fusing is anything similar to Ricoh's, your problem is not the IHPU but instead it is the thermostat in the IH Coil has popped. For a quick trouble shooting of the thermostat, find where it connects to the IHPU, unplug it and check not continuity. If there is no continuity then ultimately for safety reasons you will need to replace the coil assembly unless KM makes the thermostat available as a separate part. For a temporary fix, bypass the bad thermostat. I have seen those thermostat accidentally popped by pressing on them, like if some idiot tries to clean the surface of the IH Coil.
