    [Misc] Weekly timer issue

    Here's my issue..C450i with Fiery

    Weekly timer ON

Set to turn ON at 815 (for 830 opening), off at 715 pm when store closes. password to use outside of normal hours enforced. At 615 pm (just an example) the machine is prompting a message to enter bypass code. The machine should not be in timer at this point. I have double checked the date/time and DST settings in admin and service mode..machine is 3 weeks old and f/w is up to date. Any thoughts??? E

Sounds like problem that should be solved long time ago.

    Fixed issues:
    16.
When the weekly timer is set, it is displayed as off-operation time, even though it is in the operation hours.

This is at P8, I'm thinking the standard power save settings may be at fault here..If the weekly timer is ON and the power save mode is set for 60 min, does the machine go to sleep and if it does, is the weekly timer after hours login popping up due to a firmware fault??

As a workaround I would set low power mode to 240 minutes (switch 157 HEX 02) so it kicks on well after closing hours.

Also set [Enter Power Save Mode] to Normal.

Sorry I dunno just trying to help. All of my machines are setup upon install with weekly timer off.
You may be on right track about WT messing with power settings. At that point I will do more in-house tests to simulate and then troubleshoot the issue.

I set my C364e up the exact same way..lowered the sleep mode settings to 5 min..The MFP goes to sleep and will wake up and go directly to the home screen without entering the after hours password, so not sure why this is happening on the I series. E

You need i series to test I think 🤔

OK, I'm an idiot..the issue was the date/time settings..We set the correct date and time, then turned on DST which set it back one hour. Nothing worse than tech induced problems..E
