If I understand what you wrote, you said that double feeding from the paper tray caused the jam? If that is what you meant to write, then the problem would be double feeding from the tray. Where does the jam counter say the problem is? Does it work if you feed from a different tray?

Is it every copy? Are the jam codes for the duplex? Watch the paper feed thru the duplex. Look thru the vented cover. Paper should stop in the same spot all the time. If you hear a grunting squeal in the transport area, Take out tray 2 feed station. The one behind the bypass. On the frame below the clutches there is a gear that looks like an idler gear. It has a bearing in it. Clean that. Has caused jamming and squeaking on some of our machines.
