Re: Bizhub C3120i SMTP Problem
I got it to work for me. My issue (as dumb as it was) was copying the Google Apps password from the pop-up (after enabling 2 factor) and pasting it into the password box for the SMTP settings wasn't working. I needed to instead paste it into another text box first (chose my browser), then paste it into the normal password box for whatever reason. Not sure if there was a weird character thing or not.
Following the settings from this helped: https://kmbscore.service-now.com/kb?...icle=KB0010456

Re: Bizhub C3120i SMTP Problem
Me personally? No. If you've done all the settings correctly than it sounds like it's a software limitation or missing security setting only on the re-badged printers? I have many different KM branded models old and new still using Gmail. I can't think of any re-badged printers in my area that have Gmail set up on it, IT dept. usually don't bother with the smaller machines and limit scanning to the larger MFPs.Leave a comment:

Re: Bizhub C3120i SMTP Problem
Gmail still works just fine, I have numerous customers using their own private Gmail account to scan on their bizhubs. You need to have 2-factor authentication enabled and create an App Password under the Google account's security settings. The App Password must then be input in the MFP.
KMBS USA made a handy dandy guide on how to do all this and configure the MFP: Scan to Gmail Using 2 Step Verification and App Password
Are you using Gmail on Bizhub C3120i ?
Im using Gmail on C227 without any problem , i have problem only with C3120iLeave a comment:

Re: Bizhub C3120i SMTP Problem
this model is a different animal from the other Konica models. There's a checkbox about Certificate verification. Uncheck it to see if it goes through.Leave a comment:
