    [Misc] C3320i Consumable Life - Date resetting/changing

    Hi all

    Have a strange issue on a C3320i.

    The consumable life start date for the fuser, transfer belt, roller and toner filter keep changing every day to the current date.

    Upgraded the firmware (Q8) and back to P8, reset the NVRAM and formatted the SD card.

    If you change the date on the machine (earlier or later), when the machine restarts the date has again changed to match.

    The life count is not getting reset, just the start date. Sample attached

    Anyone any ideas what might be causing this? It's not affecting the operation of the machine in anyway and I know we can hide this information... but curiosity

      Hey, Thank you for very detailed and well written post
      Things like that keep my interest to work every day.
      It's minor annoyance compared to toner sucking and IUs failing but I completely understand your post.

      Back to the point then. What if you redo initial setup by Stop 3 and so on. What's the function version should be 2.2 with your firmwares and does switch 10 is set properly for the brand?
      This is from top of my head so if I come up later with something really meaningful I will let you know.

          Had already tried the Stop 3 setup with no success.

          Function Version is 2.2, checked the switch, it is set to 02 (which is the same as our other Minolta machines on site), machine is a Konica.

          Upgraded FW to Q8 and all still the same.

          Related or not, have noticed that the clock has lost 2 minutes over the last 3 hours. Maybe a board is having a fit!
