Re: Bizhub 4700p "Invalid Factory Configuration"
Thanks @jotunn for your help. Yes, I figured it out yesterday. I downloaded the files and the printer stopped writing “Invalid factory configuration”. But the printer still does not accept the TNP 41 toner cartridge. It worked successfully with this toner until it broke down. I have a new original TNP 43 toner, but the printer also does not accept it. Displays the message "Replace unsupported cartridge [ 32.37]".
Unfortunately, I have little experience working with small Konica Minolta printers. I repair printers in the "Professional Printing" segment. I found the reason for the failure. This is a small battery that is located on the printer board. It has lost its capacity and overnight the voltage on it drops below 2 volts. This leads to a configuration failure. I replaced the battery. And downloaded the configuration files with your help. But I can’t figure out that the printer has stopped accepting its toner cartridges.
I will be very grateful for your help.
UPD: Maybe this will help to understand the problem.

I don't like the last two lines.
UPD / UPD : Got it. Both cartridges turned out to be refilled. Firmware older than LW50.SB.P543.spw24gr.FDN.PIR.E618.pirXXgre does not accept them. Rolling back to this firmware resolved the issue. Thank you all very much for your help. Special thanks to jotunn.Last edited by alvikskor; 03-06-2024, 11:03 AM.Comment

Re: Bizhub 4700p "Invalid Factory Configuration"
I was hoping you would be able to assist me in getting my KM Bizhub 4700P reconfigured as I am getting the "Invalid Factory Configuration" error after a recent power outage. Here is the picture of the interior label and of the exterial serial number. Thanks in advance for your assistance.

Re: Bizhub 4700p "Invalid Factory Configuration"
You need to log into your machine web interface, similar to the link below:
You can check date&time in the machine and if necessary set current.
Read the manual included with the files, then use [Import] to import files in proper order.
Link to the configuration files for your machine below.
The simple, quick and secure way to send your files around the world without an account. Share your files, photos, and videos today for free.
Firmware is _not_ included, because it is not necessary to upgrade.
Hope, this helps.Comment

Hello Jotunn,
Thanks for the files. I downloaded the first one just fine, but the second gave me an error. When I went into the printer status it showed me the printer was now working normally. Thanks for all your help. You fixed another one!
best regards,

Re: Bizhub 4700p "Invalid Factory Configuration"
Unfortunately, I've got sad information - during last maintenance Lexmark removed old accounts, so I've lost an access to service restore tool website and ability to generate configuration files.
Probably, we need to find someone with active Lexmark service account.

In case someone comes here looking for help with the same problem (as I did), here is what fixed the problem for me (using the great information in this thread -- thanks jotunn). I have a Konica Minolta 3320 that suddenly gave errors: Invalid Factory Configuration, and Unsupported Cartridge. Tried reboot, factory reset, new cartridge ... but same errors persisted. Because of what jotunn had said, I figured out it was the configuration files (and as another contributor said, probably caused by a faulty button battery on the circuit board). I replaced the battery. However, to fix configuration, I logged into the machine using a browser and the machine's IP to access settings. From here I EXPORTED current config files, and then IMPORTED the config files I had just exported. Machine rebooted and now works perfectly. Not sure if it will happen again (hoping not with replaced battery). Not sure WHY that worked, but it was my only shot with no access to service restore website to get new config files.👍 2Comment
