    SD-511

    SD-511 with perfect funktion. But I cann't pull out because of a black bars on the 511 buttom. It comes only 1 or 2 centimeter out, than blocks.

    Photos? There are no black bars that I'm aware of.

      I think it's from the photoelectric barrier which when SD-511 pulled out. There is a metal leasure that stops lifting this lever.

        Sorry, I still don't recognize this. The closest I can find is the stabilizing leg that flips down to steady the unit when it's pulled out, but there shouldn't be anything that could get in the way of that.

          Stabilizing leg is a good idea. And the metal tab in the frame should stop flipping down inside. I don't know who flipped it inside down. I'll try to lift it upper the tab with more power, tomorrow.

            Now, stabilizing leg is in correct position. SD-511 can be opened.

              the leg can be secured in the upright position with a screw. it only tips forward out of balance if its not attached to a copier and even if it does tip its not gonna flip the finisher. never had this result in it not being able to be pulled out.

              in the early days when SD had to be manually installed it was usually because the tech put the rail screws in wrong
