    Cyan DR512 issues/striping

Thank you all for your help on this forum!

I am having trouble with a c554e. Replaced DR512c due to this problem. It corrected for a few thousand copies then has returned. Genuine KM DR512c. DV's are all with good life. Transfer belt is recently replaced (genuine). 3 other drums are EOL with genuine replacements on the way.

Anything else that I should check for? Thank you!

Usually I'd guess these light lines are caused by a dirty laser glass. Did you clean them while swapping the drum unit? Perhaps they are dirty again now. I'd pull out all units (dv, drum, itb..) and inspec the inside of the machine, clean everything and make shure the dev unot does not spill toner. You might also take a look at the toner filter and check the airflow channels for dev cooling.

No, did not do a deep cleaning. I forgot that the toner filter's known to cause issues (especially with Cyan). Great tips, will give it a thorough cleaning while waiting for drums.

      thank you!
